What is Erosion Control?

Naue’s erosion control products, such as the Secumat® range and products made from jute and coconut fibers, are designed to prevent surface erosion and increase the stability of slopes and shoreline areas. Secumat® Green
Secumat® Green is an eco-friendly erosion control mat made from biodegradable materials such as jute and coconut fibers. These mats protect soils from erosion and promote vegetation by stabilizing the soil and preserving nutrients. Secumat®
Secumat® is a high-performance erosion control mat developed by Naue to protect soils from erosion and increase the stability of slopes and riverbanks. The mats are made from synthetic materials like polypropylene, offering high resistance to environmental influences. Secumat® protects the soil from surface erosion and promotes vegetation by stabilizing and preserving nutrients. They are ideal for use in flood protection, landscaping, and drainage channels.
High-quality flat products made from pocket-like geocells that are chemically and biologically resistant and UV stable. The geocells have a special surface texturing that ensures an optimal bond between the geocell and the fill material. The cells are perforated to hydraulically connect the individual cell pockets and allow excess water to escape, promoting cross-cell root growth.
Together with the Secumat® random mesh products, they form a high-quality and secure erosion control system from a single source. They provide secure hold even on particularly challenging slope inclinations and are particularly suitable for stabilizing slopes and shorelines when used in combination with flat erosion control products.
The Secumat® random mesh products are modular, permanent erosion control mats made from a UV-stabilized, biologically and chemically resistant random mesh.
