The pile dwellings in upper Lake Zurich, Switzerland originated 4000 years ago and were awarded the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. Natural erosion and the turbulence created by the busy shipping were endangering these unique structures in the shallow water zone. Secugrid® HS – Reconstruction of Oder dyke in Uckermark county

In the summer of 1997, the largest known flood occurred along the German-Polish border river Oder. Due to the flood situation lasting several weeks, around 5,500 hectares of agricultural land and residential area with about 400 houses were flooded as a result of multiple dyke failures. Several thousand people had to be evacuated.

The aim was to provide rail-based public transport to connect the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (SAAS) Airport Terminal 3 (Skypark Terminal) and its vicinity with the existing railway network.

Secutex® H – Sulina Canal Rehabilitation near Maliuc – Romania 

Sulina branch is the shortest and the straightest canal of the Danube Delta and is the final part of the Rhine/Meuse-Main-Danube trans-port corridor, which connects the Rotterdam port at the North Sea with the Sulina port at the Black Sea. It has a length of approximately 71km, and it is the only navigable canal of the three through which the Danube flows in the Black Sea. The construction works to make the canal navigable for sea ships started in 1856 under the supervision of the European Commission of the Danube. They were finalised in 1861. Nowadays, the canal allows the navigation of sea ships with a draught of up to 7.2m and requires permanent maintenance to maintain its nav-igability.
