NAUE m³ wall systems - Nail
The NAUE NAIL system combines the strength and durability of Secugrid® geo-grids with soil nails to create a steep slope reinforcement system at slope incli-nations up to 60°. Secugrid®, with its uni-form, flat bar construction and outstand-ing junction strength, provides the primary reinforcement in the down slope direction. The designed soil nails are spaced uni-formly across the installed Secugrid® rein-forcement, which covers the slope surface. Additionally, the Secumat® erosion control mat is placed over the Secugrid® soil rein-forcement before the soil nails are secu-red. The topsoil-filled Secumat® promotes the establishment of vegetation for green slopes. Vegetation can be established quickly and effectively with hydroseeding, where needed or preferred.
