Secutex® – Heideradweg von Turnow bis Weichensdorf

Mit dem Bau des Heideradwegs unterstützt der Landkreis Spree-Neiße den naturnahen und nachhaltigen Tourismus in der Region. Der Radweg ist ein Projekt der Internationalen Naturausstellung Lieberoser Heide und soll insbesondere angrenzende Projekte der Internationalen Naturausstellung inhaltlich verknüpfen. Im Süden grenzt er an verschiedene Fernradwege, in Oelsen soll er perspektivisch an das bestehende Radfernwegenetz angebunden werden.

Secugrid® Combigrid® – Hervey Bay Airport – Australia

Fraser Coast Regional Council (FCRC) undertook a runway assessment of its Hervey Bay Airport facility in November 2014, as part of its airport master planning initiative. The investigation and report were compiled by GHD and presented to Council in December 2014. Conclusions from the report indicated that the runway was approaching its useful life expectancy and deterioration was as per the predicted wear rate. However, increased traffic from medium passenger jets could increase the rate of wear and decrease the predicted life span.

Die Mülldeponie Szeged liegt nördlich von Szeged in Ungarn an der Grenze zu Serbien und Rumänien. Sie ist durch die nahe gelegene Autobahn M43 leicht erreichbar. Die Kapazität des 2007 errichteten Abschnitts I der Regionaldeponie Szeged reichte nicht aus. Der Bau eines zweiten Abschnitts war erforderlich.

Secutex® H – Sulina Canal Rehabilitation near Maliuc – Romania 

Sulina branch is the shortest and the straightest canal of the Danube Delta and is the final part of the Rhine/Meuse-Main-Danube trans-port corridor, which connects the Rotterdam port at the North Sea with the Sulina port at the Black Sea. It has a length of approximately 71km, and it is the only navigable canal of the three through which the Danube flows in the Black Sea. The construction works to make the canal navigable for sea ships started in 1856 under the supervision of the European Commission of the Danube. They were finalised in 1861. Nowadays, the canal allows the navigation of sea ships with a draught of up to 7.2m and requires permanent maintenance to maintain its nav-igability.

At the historic site of the Royal Horticultural Society’s fifth Garden at Worsley, Greater Manchester, Naue Geosynthetic’s Combigrid® and Secugrid® products were used to create a layered geogrid-reinforced piling mat in preparation for construction of the new visitor centre or ‘Welcome Building’.
