Mining and tailings storage facility sealing: oxidation-resistant GCL

The ‘+’ PE coating is the first line of defence against oxidative degradation from acid rock drainage, saline brine and chemical reagents. Standard GCL PE coatings meet minimum GM13 requirements, but in permanently aggressive oxidative environments, antioxidant depletion occurs faster. Bentofix® + X delays this through its extended OIT/HPOIT formulation. The +X5F and +X10F structured surfaces deliver high friction angles on embankment slopes, enabling confident slope stability design at steep inclinations.
