Wherever water-hazardous substances are stored and handled, or roads and earthworks could leach into the subsoil, Naue supplies the certified sealing solution for the area.
Naue’s Carbofol® HDPE geomembranes, Bentofix® GCLs and Secutex® protective nonwovens form single- and double-liner barriers for LAU and HBV facilities and standards-compliant sealing for roads under the German RiStWag and M TS E guidelines - certified, traceable and fully documented.

Sealing road subgrades and embankments in water catchment/protection areas to protect groundwater from road runoff per RiStWag (Germany) and equivalent national frameworks. Geosynthetic clay liner, geomembranes, geogrids and erosion control systems.

Sealing soils and reused materials with environmentally relevant substances in earthworks to protect groundwater. Geosynthetic barriers, drainage and reinforcement solutions for M TS E construction methods A, B, and C.

Single-component, chemically resistant Carbofol® HDPE sealing systems for groundwater protection. Used at facilities for storing, filling and transferring (LAU) and for manufacturing, treating and using (HBV) water-hazardous substances.

Double-liner Carbofol® HDPE sealing systems with a monitored control zone and protection geotextile. Protect groundwater at facilities for storing, filling and transferring (LAU) and for manufacturing, treating and using (HBV) water-hazardous substances.

LAU covers facilities for storing, filling and transferring water-hazardous substances; HBV covers facilities for manufacturing, treating and using them. Both require engineered sealing systems to prevent any release from reaching soil and groundwater.
A single-component system (Carbofol® HDPE with Secutex® protection) is used for standard exposures. Where particularly aggressive substances are handled, a double-liner system with a leak-monitoring control layer between the two barriers provides additional security and leak detection.
RiStWag governs road construction in water catchment and protection areas. It requires the subgrade to be sealed and targeted construction measures to be taken so that road run-off and spillages cannot contaminate groundwater. Bentofix® and Carbofol® provide the compliant sealing barrier.
When soils or construction materials containing environmentally relevant substances are reused in earthworks, the FGSV M TS E guideline requires a sealing barrier beneath them to protect groundwater from leaching. Naue geosynthetics form this certified barrier.
Yes. Carbofol® and Bentofix® carry the relevant approvals (including BAM for Carbofol®), conform to EN ISO 10318 and are supplied with full declarations of performance and conformity documentation for traceable, compliant projects.
In a double-liner system, a drainage/control layer is installed between the primary and secondary barriers. Any leakage through the primary liner is collected and detected in this layer before it can reach the subsoil, enabling early intervention.
