Carbofol® HDPE and LLDPE geomembranes provide high chemical resistance to acidic and alkaline leach solutions, brines and heavy-metal-laden liquors. Bentofix® GCLs add a self-sealing mineral barrier. For divalent-cation-rich or aggressive media, the PE-coated Bentofix® X protects the bentonite core from ion exchange.
Heap leach pads require a chemically resistant, mechanically robust primary barrier (Carbofol® HDPE/LLDPE), often over a secondary GCL barrier (Bentofix®), with Secutex® protection and Secudrain® solution-collection drainage. The system must withstand ore loading, aggressive lixiviants and long irrigation cycles.
Secugrid® and Combigrid® geogrids reinforce the base course over weak or variable subgrade, distributing the loads of dump trucks and loaders. This reduces rutting, lowers aggregate demand and extends the maintenance interval of unpaved haul roads.
Closure uses a certified capping system - typically Bentofix® GCL and/or Carbofol® geomembrane, Secudrain® drainage and Secutex® protection under a restoration cover - to control infiltration, isolate contaminants and enable long-term revegetation.

Yes. A Bentofix® GCL replaces roughly a metre of compacted clay with a layer only 7–15 mm thick, eliminating the need to source, haul and place large volumes of low-permeability clay that is often unavailable on remote mine sites.
