En la terminal de cruceros "City Cruise Terminal" del Puerto de Southampton, se instalaron contenedores de geotextiles de Naue llenos de arena para rellenar cavidades de socavación en el fondo del puerto y prevenir nuevas erosiones. Southampton es la capital de los cruceros del Reino Unido, con más de 430 escalas al año. Es uno de los puertos de aguas profundas más activos del país y puede albergar cruceros de cualquier tamaño. También es sede de la segunda terminal de contenedores más grande del Reino Unido.
Defensa costera y protección contra Inundaciones – Scharbeutz, Alemania
El tramo costero de aprox. 5,4 km en Scharbeutz, muy visitado por turistas, se caracteriza por una amplia playa de arena, un talud costero, un paseo marítimo, una carretera y edificaciones. Esta zona está expuesta a marejadas ciclónicas del noreste.

With a surface area of 170,000 square meters and a depth of 10 meters, this artificial lake will be the first of its kind in India. It is being built to store one billion litres of rainwater over ten months, ensuring water availability throughout the year. The lake's construction relies on advanced technology, primarily Naue Carbofol® HDPE (high-density polyethylene) geomembranes, imported from Germany due to its exceptional durability and effectiveness in preventing water seepage.

Secutex® Soft Rock – Coastal defence and flood protection, Scharbeutz, Germany
The approx. 5.4 km long coastal strip of the city of Scharbeutz, which is frequently used by tourists is characterised by a wide sandy beach with a beach wall and a promenade, road and buildings behind it. This stretch of coast is largely unprotected from storm surges from the northeast. The coastal defences needed to be improved to protect the residents in this area. The state of Schleswig-Holstein subsidised this construction project.
