An erosion control mat mat is a three-dimensional geosynthetic that secures topsoil and seeds on slopes during the vegetation establishment phase. Naue Secumat® combines a polymer matrix with optional natural fibres for accelerated revegetation.
Coco and Jute Secumat® Green variants are natural-fibre mats. Choose them when long-term materials on site are to be avoided – e.g. sensitive landscapes, alpine slopes, riverbanks.
Secumat® Cell is a cellular three-dimensional mat that mechanically confines topsoil and aggregate. It is preferred on steep slopes and capping systems where standard mats would not retain the cover material.
The anchor pattern is calculated from slope angle, length, hydraulic load and substrate. Naue ErosionControl delivers a project-specific anchor pattern with documented pull-out resistance.

Yes. All relevant Secumat® variants carry CE marking under CPR 305/2011 and conform to BS EN 13253 (geotextiles for erosion control works).
