NSW Coastal Conference 2026
Explore geosynthetic solutions for coastal erosion control, shoreline stabilisation, dune protection and scour protection.

Detailed information
The 33rd NSW Coastal Conference will take place from 4 to 6 November 2026 at Shellharbour Civic Centre in New South Wales, Australia. Under the theme Focusing on our Changing Coast, for All, the conference brings together coastal engineers, researchers, planners, government representatives and coastal management professionals. Discussions focus on coastal change, erosion management, adaptation to coastal hazards, estuary management and the protection of coastal environments. Technical presentations, field trips and networking opportunities provide a platform for sharing research and practical experience.
Naue offers geosynthetic solutions for coastal protection, shoreline stabilisation, scour protection and hydraulic engineering. Applications include geotextile filtration beneath revetments, sand-filled geotextile containers for erosion control and protection systems for dunes and coastal infrastructure. Meet the Naue team in the conference foyer to discuss site-specific challenges, suitable construction methods and technical requirements for coastal engineering projects.

Why meet Naue at the NSW Coastal Conference 2026?
- Protect shorelines against coastal erosion – Explore geosynthetic solutions for stabilising beaches, shorelines and coastal embankments exposed to wave action and erosion. Secutex® Soft Rock geotextile sand containers can help retain sediment and reduce hydraulic impact while providing an alternative to conventional rock-based protection systems.
- Reinforce dunes and coastal defence structures – Discover how geotextile sand containers can be integrated into dune reinforcement and coastal protection systems. These solutions help stabilise vulnerable coastal areas and support the protection of infrastructure against erosion and storm-related damage.
- Improve filtration and scour protection – Learn how Secutex® H filter geotextiles and Secutex® HB sand mats can be used in revetments, breakwaters and coastal structures. They provide filtration and separation functions, helping to limit the loss of fine soil particles under hydraulic loading.
- Develop site-specific coastal protection solutions – Discuss suitable geosynthetic systems for projects involving coastal erosion, wave exposure, tidal currents and challenging seabed conditions. Naue's specialists can support the selection of systems based on hydraulic loading, soil conditions, design requirements and installation methods.
