Naue on New Features and Expanding Capabilities in the Naue Portal
Digital planning tools are becoming increasingly important in geotechnical engineering and infrastructure projects. Whether for temporary roads, reinforced structures or bearing capacity calculations, engineers and planners expect fast access to reliable design tools that support efficient workflows and technically sound decisions. With the latest update, the Naue Portal now introduces new functionalities and lays the foundation for additional tools and international features soon.
New calculator functions and the foundation for upcoming portal features
One of the key additions is the extended “Paved & Unpaved Road – Bearing Capacity” calculator, which now also includes the CBR-UK method. This provides additional support for projects and design approaches aligned with UK-specific requirements. Alongside this, several technical calculator functions within the portal have been expanded further, including new comparison charts in Bearing Capacity and updates related to report generation and layer spacing calculations across different design methods.
At the same time, the underlying portal architecture has been restructured to support a broader international rollout of future portal functions. This creates the basis for upcoming additions such as new language versions, extended SolutionFinder integrations and further engineering calculators planned for release over the coming months. The goal remains clear: providing planners, engineers and project stakeholders with direct access to practical digital geotechnical tools in a structured and globally accessible environment
