Certified company for sealing with geosynthetics in environmental and structural protection
Naue Sealing is a certified company according to WHG (Wasserhaushaltsgesetz/ Federal Water Act) and a specialist for sealing in earthworks, landfill construction, hydraulic engineering and tunnel construction. We are experienced experts in construction sealing, groundwater protection and concrete protection.
We have been involved in the waterproofing of structures since the early 1970s. The areas of application are diverse and over the years we have constantly expanded and optimised our range of services.
As a company of the Naue Group, we offer seamless support in the construction of your sealing system, from planning to material supply and installation.
Origin and milestones
1968 – Development of the Carbofol® plastic geomembrane at Niederberg Chemie.
1975 – UTHE Dichtungs- und Beschichtungstechnik is founded and develops into a certified installation company of geosynthetics
1983 – Founding member of the Arbeitskreis Grundwasserschutz e.V. (Working Group for Groundwater Protection). (AK GWS)
1984 – STUVA membership (Studienges. für unterirdische Verkehrsanlagen e.V.)
1987 – Conclusion of a monitoring contract with TÜV Nord as an certified company in accordance with WHG
1996 – Naue acquires the specialist installer UTHE as well as itb Isolierungsgesellschaft für Tunnel und Bauwerke, a manufacturer and installer of Carbofol®geomembranes
1998 – AK GWS issues monitoring mark after inspection by BAM
2001 – Merger of UTHE and the itb installation division to form Naue Sealing GmbH & Co. KG
2001 – Move into the new building at Kreuzbreite 29 in Bückeburg
2001 – Founding member of the Arbeitskreis Tunnelabdichtung e.V. (AKTA).
2006 – AKTA awards the monitoring mark after inspection by STUVA
2007 – Entry in the list of prequalified construction companies (VMC Präqualifikation GmbH)
2015 – Naue Sealing receives SCC certification
Memberships
As an approved specialist company in accordance with § 19 WHG (Water Resources Act), we were able to conclude a monitoring contract with TÜV Nord as early as 1987. Since then, annual training courses have been held for our specialist welders in accordance with DVS 2212.
Since 1998, we have been certified by the Arbeitskreis Grundwasserschutz e.V. (Groundwater Protection Working Group) in accordance with the BAM (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung – Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) guidelines in Berlin, which entitle us, for example, to install plastic sealing membranes and geosynthetics in landfill sealing systems.
As a member of the Arbeitskreis Tunnelabdichtung e.V. (tunnel sealing working group), we are regularly and successfully audited by the STUVA (Studiengesellschaft für unterirdische Verkehrsanlagen e.V.) for our qualifications.
As proof of prequalification in accordance with § 6 VOB, we were first registered with the Verein für die Präqualifikation von Bauunternehmen e.V. (Association for the Prequalification of Construction Companies) in Bonn in August 2007.
We contribute the experience and know-how of our technicians and engineers to working groups such as the DVS Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V. (German Association for Welding and Allied Processes) or to subgroups of the BAM technical advisory board.
Quality Management
Naue Sealing maintains a quality management system (QM) in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001 series of standards and the requirements of the “Guideline for the Requirements of Specialist Companies for the Installation of Plastic Sealing Membranes, Other Geosynthetics and Plastic Components in Landfill Sealing Systems” as part of the specialist company accreditation of the AKGWS.
The QMH (Quality Management Manual) consists of three parts
A) General part
B) Technical part
C) Working, maintenance and calibration instructions
and is constantly reviewed and kept up to date within the framework of an annual internal quality audit.
In addition, an inspection is carried out in alternation between the construction site and the company headquarters by a BAM inspection officer on behalf of the AKGWS.
