NAUE Gabion system for reinforced soil structures

The NAUE GABION system for reinforced soil structures utilises Secugrid® geogrids to create reinforced soil structures with gabion fronts. Secugrid® geogrids are installed between the gabion layers and anchored in the soil.

The system is highly flexible for design and installation, adjusting to project-specific soil requirements and geometric shapes. This flexibility maximises project economics and aesthetic options. Depending on site needs, the erosion stability of the soil placed on the reinforcing geogrid construction can be ensured by the installation of a Secutex® filter geotextile behind the gabion layers. Slope inclinations up to 90° are possible.
