Naue at IFAT Munich 2026

IFAT Munich is the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies and will take place from 4 to 7 May 2026 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München. As an international flagship platform, it brings together decision-makers and experts to discuss answers to key questions relating to water management, recycling, resource efficiency and circular systems. Against the backdrop of climate change, urbanisation and rising demands on sustainable infrastructure, professional exchange at IFAT continues to gain importance.

IFAT Munich is simultaneously a solutions platform, networking event and knowledge hub. International industry representatives from politics, business and academia meet planners, engineering consultancies, authorities, construction companies and operators of municipal and industrial environmental infrastructure. The focus is on current challenges such as climate change–driven extreme events, the protection of water resources, the safe implementation of circular material flows, and the cost-effective modernisation of existing facilities and infrastructure.

Trade visitors gain insights into technological developments, practical applications and new approaches across water, recycling and circularity – ranging from resilient hydraulic engineering systems and sealing and protection concepts to material-efficient construction methods for environmentally sensitive areas.
