About the webinar
This webinar provides a concise overview of the technical fundamentals of geosynthetic clay liners with biodegradable* textile layers. In addition to the materials used, the conditions for biological degradation and relevant certificates, the webinar addresses key criteria for selection, storage and installation.
The focus is on how the individual components of Bentofix® Green work together: the textile layers provide stability to the geosynthetic clay liner during transport and installation, while the mineral core provides the intended sealing function.
Using typical applications in hydraulic engineering and selected projects, we will show how this sealing solution can be used from watercourse beds and banks to ditches and basins. The flood protection project in Brixen serves as one of several practical examples.

Bentofix® Green is a bentonite mat comprising biodegradable geotextile layers, between which the bentonite core is embedded. The backing materials provide the necessary stability during transport and installation, whilst the mineral core performs the intended sealing function.
