Naue has joined the Eurasia Critical Minerals Organisation (ECMO), strengthening its engagement with the mining and critical minerals sector across Central Asia.

ECMO is an independent, non-profit membership organisation that brings together governments, industry participants, financial institutions and other stakeholders across Eurasia's critical minerals ecosystem. The organisation provides a platform for dialogue, regional insight and cross-border collaboration.
Its aim is to improve understanding of the region's mineral potential and operating environment while connecting regional opportunities with international expertise, investment and industry partners.
As a new member, Naue brings extensive experience in geosynthetic engineering and mining infrastructure. Geosynthetic systems can support projects throughout the mine lifecycle – from access and haul roads to containment, water management, tailings facilities and mine closure.
Through ECMO, Naue looks forward to contributing its technical expertise to the organisation’s network and strengthening the exchange with mine operators, consultants and project stakeholders across Central Asia.
Do you have any questions about our mining products or a specific project? We'll be happy to help you.

Mining geosynthetics are engineered materials used across mining operations. They address haul roads on soft subgrades, safe tailings containment and long-term environmental protection after closure. Secugrid®, Combigrid®, Carbofol®, Bentofix® and Secutex® provide proven, compliant solutions.

Heap leach pad lining prevents leach solutions from seeping into the ground. Carbofol® HDPE/LLDPE, Bentofix® GCLs and Secutex® provide primary and secondary containment. LLDPE suits settlement; HDPE offers higher chemical resistance.

Tailings management covers engineered containment, sealing and long-term storage of processing waste in TSFs. Uncontrolled leachate and berm failure pose environmental and reputational risks. Carbofol®, Bentofix®, Secutex®, Secudrain® and Secugrid® support TSFs from base lining to closure capping.

Evaporation pond lining in mining uses geosynthetic barriers to contain process fluids, brines and pregnant solutions. Unlined ponds risk seepage into soil and groundwater. Carbofol® HDPE geomembranes and Bentofix® GCLs provide resistant containment for copper, lithium, gold and salt mining.

Mine closure and rehabilitation permanently isolate contaminated mining zones with engineered geosynthetics. Tailings and sediments threaten groundwater and ecosystems. Carbofol®, Bentofix®, Secudrain® and Secutex® provide compliant containment and capping from single to composite double-liners.

Mining haul roads are access routes for heavy transport in open-cast and underground mines. Repeated loading causes rutting and surface deterioration on weak or variable subgrades. Secugrid® geogrids and Combigrid® geocomposites stabilise the base course, distribute loads and extend service life.
