
Naue VeneerReinforcement is a free online calculator in the Naue Portal DesignSuite that checks the slope-parallel (veneer) sliding stability of layered lining and cover systems - such as landfill capping and sealing systems on slopes. It calculates the safety against sliding of the system from your geometry and interface parameters and, where the interface shear strength cannot carry the shear forces, dimensions a Secugrid® geogrid as reinforcement against sliding, including its anchorage. The tool handles arbitrary layered systems and checks the final (in-service), construction and exceptional (accidental) design states to DIN 1054 (BSP, BST and BSA), including trafficking by construction equipment.
Naue VeneerReinforcement is used wherever a layered cover or lining system sits on a slope and must be verified against slope-parallel sliding and reinforced where the interfaces alone are not enough.
A guided form captures the slope, the layers and the interfaces, checks the sliding safety in the relevant states and - where needed - sizes the reinforcement and its anchorage, with the option to save the calculation to a project.
