Q: When should I use Secutex® H instead of standard Secutex®?

Secutex® H is the hydraulic geotextile (BAW-approved) for revetments, bank and scour protection in hydraulic engineering. For protection above geomembranes, specify a heavy Secutex® protection nonwoven.

Q: What does Naue GlacierProtect do?

Naue GlacierProtect made of Secutex® Green G1 is a high-reflectivity geotextile system specifically engineered to slow ice and snow melt on glaciers and ski areas (snowfarming).

Q: Are Naue geotextiles CE marked?

Yes. All relevant Secutex® variants carry CE marking under CPR 305/2011 and conform to BS EN ISO 10319 (tensile), 11058 (permeability), 12956 (opening size) and 12236 (CBR puncture).

Q: How is filter stability ensured?

Secutex® opening sizes (O90) are engineered to match the soil grading. Naue’s Engineering & Design Department (EDD) provides project-specific filter assessments per the Cistin/Ziems and Heerten criteria.

Q: Can geotextiles be installed in winter?

Yes. Naue Secutex® can be installed at low temperatures down to -20 °C. The substrate must remain stable and free of snow / ice contamination.

Q: Can the products be sewn or welded?

Yes. Secutex® can be sewn for high-tension overlaps and Combigrid® consists of Secutex® welded on Secugrid® geogrids.
