Meet Naue at ECOPLAYAS 2026

Detailed information

From 20 to 22 October 2026, La Línea de la Concepción in Cádiz, Spain, will host ECOPLAYAS 2026, the 24th International Congress and Exhibition on Beaches. Organised by ATEGRUS, the event brings together public authorities, engineers, consultants and industry professionals to discuss the challenges of coastal management. Key topics include coastal erosion, climate change adaptation, beach and dune restoration, and technical approaches to protecting vulnerable coastal environments.

Naue will participate in ECOPLAYAS 2026 at stand 15, presenting geosynthetic solutions for coastal protection and hydraulic engineering. From filtration and stabilisation systems to sand-filled geotextile containers for erosion and scour protection, Naue provides technical solutions tailored to project-specific conditions. Raquel Ribera, Regional Sales Manager at Naue, will also address the restoration and protection of beaches and dunes using conventional and nature-based geotechnical solutions.

Why visit Naue at ECOPLAYAS?

  • Coastal protection against erosion and scour - Wave action and coastal currents can cause sediment loss and compromise shoreline stability. Naue's geosynthetic systems, including Secutex® Soft Rock sand-filled containers, support the development of coastal protection measures adapted to the hydraulic and geotechnical conditions of each site.
  • Beach and dune stabilisation and restoration - Coastal erosion requires solutions that account for shoreline dynamics, soil conditions and local environmental requirements. Naue's geotextiles and protection systems can be integrated into beach restoration, dune reinforcement and stabilisation projects to address the specific demands of exposed coastal areas.
  • Filtration and protection of coastal infrastructure - The migration of fine soil particles beneath protective layers can affect the stability of maritime structures and slopes. Secutex® filtration geotextiles help separate materials and limit sediment migration, supporting the performance of hydraulic protection systems under demanding site conditions.
  • Technical support for coastal engineering projects - Selecting the right solution requires careful consideration of wave loads, coastal currents, soil characteristics and installation conditions. Naue supports engineers and project teams in evaluating construction alternatives, defining technical requirements and planning suitable geosynthetic systems.

Naue focus at ICOPLAYAS 2026

  • Coastal protection using sand-filled geotextile containers.
  • Erosion and scour control under wave and current loading.
  • Beach and dune stabilisation and reinforcement.
  • Filtration and separation systems for hydraulic structures.
  • Geotechnical solutions for coastal restoration projects.
  • Technical advice on geosynthetic design, selection and installation.

What can you discuss with our experts?

  • How to select suitable erosion protection systems for beaches exposed to high wave energy.
  • Which factors should be considered when using sand-filled geotextile containers in coastal restoration projects.
  • How to prevent the migration of fine sediments beneath hydraulic protection structures.
  • Which solutions can reinforce dunes and stabilise coastal areas affected by storms.
  • How to assess hydraulic, geotechnical and construction conditions when planning a coastal protection project.

Who should meet us?

Meeting the Naue team is particularly relevant for:

  • Civil, hydraulic and geotechnical engineers.
  • Coastal engineering consultants and design specialists.
  • Municipal authorities and beach management professionals.
  • Port authorities and coastal infrastructure operators.
  • Contractors specialising in marine and hydraulic engineering.
  • Professionals involved in coastal ecosystem restoration and protection.
Arrange a meeting at this event with your Naue expert.

Arrange a project consultation

A pre-arranged meeting allows us to connect you with the appropriate specialist and prepare for your technical questions. You are welcome to share the application, project phase, site conditions or specification topic in advance
